Merchandising
Requirements
Artist
shall have the sole right to display and sell merchandise at the performance
and retain 100% of the proceeds therefrom. Buyer will insure that there is no
concession fee assigned to the Artist (applicable state or local sales tax
excluded). Buyer will supply one table in a primary and visible location for
sale, for every five hundred people (500) in attendance.
Catering
Buyer
agrees to provide a light meal, such as crudite tray, fruit tray, wraps or
finger sandwiches, salad, etc. to accommodate 6 people between sound check and
performance time. Non-alcoholic
beverages including bottled water will be appreciated and requested available
on stage during the performance.
Tickets/Guestlist
Purchaser
shall make available to Artist ten (10) complimentary tickets for Artist's use
for the performance.
Sound Check
Sound
check is mandatory; exact time to be mutually arranged between Buyer and
Artist.
We
are considering adding a new multimedia element to the show, so no details yet,
but thought I’d mention it here.
Parking
Buyer
agrees to provide three (3) secure parking spaces for Artist's vehicles for a
period commencing two (2) hours prior to the performance and continuing for two
(2) hours following the performance.
Security
Buyer
agrees to guarantee proper security at all times to ensure the personal safety
of the Artist, auxiliary personnel, equipment and personal property, during and
after the performance.
Liability
Neither
Artist nor Buyer will be liable for failure to perform under this agreement
where the failure is caused by forces beyond the control of Artist or Buyer, as
the case may be. Such forces include without limitation, government actions,
illness or disability of Artist, and acts of God including severe weather or
natural disasters.
